During this Asan, the body assumes the opposite shape of the Paschimottasan.Therefore, this Asan is called Purvottanasan. Steps :
Lie on your back on a carpet or blanket.
Then come slowly to the stage of Halasan.
Streche your legs and keep the knees straight.
Now hold the right toes with the right hand and the left hand.
Draw the legs towards the head and by placing the chin on the chest and come to the final stage.
If you wish, you may not hold your toes.
